Understand rated load, operating weight, engine power, bucket capacity and attachments before selecting a wheel loader.

Start with the weight and volume of the material you regularly move, then consider site access, daily workload, transport requirements and the attachments you intend to use.

Rated load is the manufacturer’s stated working-load capacity under specified operating conditions. Material density, bucket type, attachment weight and site conditions should also be considered.

Rated load refers to working capacity. Operating weight refers to the approximate total weight of the machine in operating condition and affects transport and site suitability.

Bucket selection depends on material density and machine capacity. Dense materials can reach the rated-load limit before the bucket is completely full.

Selected models are offered with fork or bucket-and-fork package options. Confirm current attachment compatibility and package inclusions before purchase.

Wheel loaders can handle soil, gravel, feed, mulch, pallets and other materials. Selection depends on access, surfaces, lifting requirements and attachments.
