This Warranty is provided by United Heavy Industries Pty Ltd (Australia) trading as UHI Machinery (“UHI”) to the original retail purchaser (“the Purchaser”) and is in addition to any non-excludable rights and remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Nothing in this Warranty shall be construed as excluding, restricting, or modifying any rights that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to the terms, conditions and exclusions set out herein, UHI warrants that the goods supplied are free from defects in material and workmanship under normal operation and service conditions.
UHI’s total liability under this Warranty shall be strictly limited to the repair or replacement (at UHI’s sole discretion) of defective parts by an authorized UHI Machinery Dealer, during the applicable warranty period as specified below, commencing from the date of delivery to the Purchaser.

This warranty is valid only for the first original consumer purchaser and is strictly non- transferable.

Engine Coverage
The engine warranty applies to the crankcase, oil pan, cylinder head, rocker arm cover, timing gear cover, and all components fully enclosed within these units.
Powertrain Coverage
Includes the transmission, differential, final drives, drive axles, front axles, power take-off, and clutch housing, as well as components fully enclosed therein, excluding the clutch assembly.
2. MANUFACTURER’S LIABILITY LIMITATION
To the maximum extent permitted by law, UHI shall not be liable for any consequential, incidental, indirect, or special damages, including but not limited to loss of profit, downtime, or loss of use of the goods. UHI’s sole obligation under this Warranty is limited exclusively to the repair or replacement of defective parts as described herein.
3. EXCLUSIONS FROM WARRANTY
This Warranty does not cover and shall be deemed void in the event of damage or failure resulting from:
3.1 Misapplication, abuse, misuse, neglect, fire, accident, or operation in an unsafe or abnormal manner.
3.2 Failure to perform proper and regular maintenance as specified by UHI.
3.3 Servicing completed by anyone other than a service agent or contractor authorized by UHI
3.4 Unauthorized modification, repair, or replacement by any person other than an authorized UHI Machinery Dealer.
3.5 Installation, alteration, or use of non-genuine parts, accessories, or attachments not approved by UHI.
3.6 Normal wear and tear, including but not limited to consumables and service items such as oils, lubricants, filters, coolant, brake and clutch linings.
3.7 Parts or components covered under separate manufacturer warranties (including batteries, tyres, injectors, injection pumps, air conditioners, belts, hoses, glass, light bulbs, upholstery, and rubber/plastic components).
3.8 Deterioration due to environmental exposure, chemical corrosion, rodent and insect or external contamination.
3.9 Torque, twisting, leverage or load damage caused by forklift, backhoe or front loader
operations;
3.10 The Tractors and its attachment are for commercial use or usage deemed by the UHI to be of a commercial nature, quality orquantity.
3.11 Accidental Damage, Force Majeure, terrorism
3.12 Use of the equipment by a person other than you and this warranty does not cover equipment purchased other than UHI
3.13 property damage or personal liability (including personal injury) arising out of any failure or malfunction of the UHI Product; w)
3.14 depreciation, damage caused by continued operation after a malfunction was noticed and or reported by the operator; x)
3.15 depreciation, damage, malfunction or failures occurring while the machine is being used for any illegal purpose;
3.16 freight charges for parts not available at UHI Authorised Dealers or parts that are ordered urgent, air freight or special freight will not be covered under warranty
4. MAINTAINING THE WARRANTY COVERAGE
4.1 In order to maintain the warranty coverage under these Warranty Conditions, the Purchaser must:
- operate the UHIProduct as described in the Operator’s Manual;
- maintain the UHIProduct in accordance with the servicing details contained in the Operator’s Manual;
- maintain the UHIProduct using UHI genuine parts supplied by UHI or Authorised Dealers;
- use UHIapproved UDT (transmission / hydraulic oil) or equivalent for the transmission / hydraulics as recommended in the Operator’s Manual; and e) use UHI approved engine oil or equivalent as recommended in the Operator’s Manual.
4.2 In order to maintain the warranty coverage under these Warranty Conditions, the Purchaser must ensure that the UHI Product is serviced according to the UHI service schedule, or in the case of low hour usage at least once per 12 month period within the warranty period, by the UHI Authorised Dealer who sold the unit to the Purchaser or another UHI Authorised Dealer, in accordance with the relevant Operator’s Manual. In the case where a UHI Authorised Dealer is unavailable, written authorisation must be obtained by UHI’s Service Department prior to commencement of any work to the UHI Product.
5. WARRANTY CLAIM PROCEDURE
To obtain warranty service, the Purchaser must notify an authorized UHI Machinery Dealer within the applicable warranty period and provide proof of purchase. All transportation or travel expenses shall be borne by the Purchaser unless otherwise agreed in writing by UHI.
6. ATTACHMENTS AND IMPLEMENTS (Detail of items not covered ref to schedule 2)
All attachments and implements supplied with UHI tractors are covered by a 1-Year Limited Warranty, excluding hydraulic components and consumable or wear items.
7. NOTICE FOR ALL TRACTORS AND ATTACHMENTS
Normal wear and tear and consumable items such as oils, filters, coolants, lubricants, and brake linings are not covered.
8. WARRANTY SERVICE COVERAGE AREA
This Warranty is valid only for service work performed within a 120 km radius of the Purchaser’s nearest authorized UHI Dealer. If service is required outside this area, Purchasers may either engage a local qualified mechanic with prior written approval or return the machine to a local UHI Dealer at their own expense.
9. GENERAL TERMS
UHI reserves the right to improve or modify products without obligation to retrofit existing units. This Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original retail purchaser. Any misuse or unauthorized repair automatically voids this Warranty.
